Philippine Consulate Queensland Outreach Mission in Toowoomba: Led by Philippine Consul Atty. Sheryll Gabutero, this historic outreach, the first in 15 years, was joined by Honorary Consul staff Jesusa Say Pamittan Limpin, Friends of the Consulate Nikki DomingoRob Wenceslao, Gilbert Ordiales , Rohit Sharma, and Bob Alipalo, along with Queensland Filipino Arts Association Australia (QFAAA) President Gina Luck, Vice President Reena Gabutero-Johnson, and Secretary Josyl Miranda. Held at the Micah Center in Toowoomba, the event was organized by FABICCQ President Robert Garcia ,Media officer Ricker Feril, Anecito Dumat (DDFACI President) and FILCCA President Agnes P. Cabe, with the support of Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor Geoff Mcdonald and Councillor Trevor Manteufel.

During the meet and greet, the Consulate provided crucial mobile consular services, including notarial and advisory assistance for nationals and Filipino workers. Consul Gabutero delivered a keynote speech, followed by an engaging Q&A session that focused on important issues, including Overseas Filipino Workers’ contracts and the pressing concern of domestic violence in the community. The outreach facilitated valuable connections with local Filipino community leaders to address these matters.
