3 February 2024 — The Philippine Consulate Queensland together with members of the Filipino community gathered for the book launch of “DAUNTLESS” by Marie Silva Vallejo. 
Vallejo’s ‘Dauntless’ delves into the rich history of cooperation among the Philippines, Australia, and the United States in the Second World War whilst commemorating The Battle of Leyte over 80 years ago with the unique participation of the 98-year-old veteran Lenard McCleod sharing his inspiring story of resilience.
