Attendance by the Philippine Honorary Consul to Queensland, Atty. Sheryll Gabutero and Honorary staff Gemma Cruz Goutos, Jesusa Say Pamittan Limpin, and Shemaiah Buenvenida in celebration of the feast day of our first Filipino saint and martyr, Saint Lorenzo Ruiz.
Holy mass conducted by Fr. Brian Redondo Pyro Technique (main celebrant), Fr. Warren Padilla, PACEM (homilist) and Fr. Roque Maguinsay Rock Mackenzie (Concelebrants).
Program included community lunch, presentations from multiple Filipino communities from the Darling Downs and beyond and attendance and participation from Councillors from Toowoomba Regional Council, Cr James O’Shea (Environment and Community Committee Chair), Cr Carol Taylor (Chair of the Infrastructure), Cr Kerry Shine and former Mayor of Toowoomba Paul Antonio.
