Philippine Honorary Consul to Queensland, Atty. Sheryll Gabutero, was warmly welcomed by Mayor Abby, Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo, and Congressman Luis Campos at Makati City Hall on December 27, 2023. 
Atty. Gabutero’s visit, honors a commitment made earlier in 2023 with the Makati delegation and highlights the growing relationship between Makati and Queensland.
In September, Makati collaborated with the Asian Institute of Management’s (AIM) School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (SEELL) in sending a delegation to Australia for the ‘Transforming the Futures of Peace and Order for the Local Government of Makati City’ program. 
This initiative aims to develop future-thinking skills and actionable strategies to enrich Makati’s global perspectives.
