26 November 2024, Vice Mayor of City of Makati, Honourable Monique Yazmin Lagdameo and her team from City of Makati comprising of Dr. Ma. Katerina C. Mangahas (City Veterinarian and Officer in Charge of Economic Enterprise Management Office), Engineer Merlina G. Panganiban (Department Head, Urban Development Department) Atty. Neil-San Patag (City Personnel Officer, Human Resource Development Office), Mr. Romulo S.J. Salgado, Jr. (City Information Office, Information and Community Relations Development), Ms. Arleen R. Pangilinan (Department Head, Youth and Sports Development Department), Engineer Alma Gellang (Building Administrator, Makati Homes), Architect Genen Andrea Racadio (Officer in Charge, Planning and Research Section, Department of Engineering and Public Works) paid a courtesy visit to Honorary Consul of Philippines to Queensland, Atty. Sheryll Gabutero and the Philippine Consulate Office as a follow-up to their visit in September 2023.

During their trip, the City of Makati delegation visited Brisbane City Council, in light of benchmarking activities for urban development, infrastructure, and sustainable city planning. The visit focused on sharing Makati’s efforts to enhance city living through innovative solutions and inclusive growth. It also served to strengthen the relationship between Makati and Brisbane. The trip reinforced Makati’s commitment to creating a world-class city.
