PHILIPPINE CONSULATE QUEENSLAND
On 08 August 2022, Atty. Sheryll L. Gabutero took the oath of office as the Philippine Honorary Consul to Queensland, administered by then Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen B. Dela Vega.
Under the Consular jurisdiction of the Philippine Embassy in Canberra, the Consular office in Queensland offers a range of services to serve more than 75,000 Filipinos in Queensland. However, passport application and renewal services remain to be processed by diplomatic missions of the Philippine Consular offices in Sydney and Melbourne, and the Philippine Embassy in Canberra.
The Philippine Honorary Consulate Queensland office officially opened on 01 September 2022 and is staffed by passionate volunteers who freely impart their expertise and time to provide a range of Consular Services to Philippine citizens, Australians, and other nationals.
Our office continues to enjoy a vital and dynamic collaboration with the large Filipino and Australian community in Queensland since diplomatic ties were established between the Philippines and Australia on 22 May 1946.
